B.C. court denies alleged swindler bail

Vancouver -- Christophe Rocancourt, wanted around the world on allegations that he masqueraded as a jet-setter and swindled people out of large sums of money, was denied bail yesterday.

Mr. Rocancourt is charged in British Columbia with sexual assault, threatening, assault causing bodily harm and fraud over $100,000.
